On Thursday August 23rd, 1973 a man armed with a machinegun walks in to a bank in Stockholm, fires a round and takes four people hostage. The man demands that his friend Clark Olofsson is released from prison. Six days later the police are able to free the hostages and arrest the man. But during those six days, the hostages became friendly with the robbers. This is later called the Stockholm Syndrome.
